Department Description

The computer department strives to provide the highest quality computer and communication services to county departments and the citizens of Lawrence County.

Through the development and contribution of all employees to the maximum of their potential, our IT department seeks to improve efficiency and productivity, maintain hardware and software cost effectiveness, while maximizing both the access to information and the utilization of all computer resources and communication capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup, repair, and maintain 400+ PC’s, laptops, and servers
  • Provide help desk support for software, and hardware to all users
  • Maintain all networks
  • Web Site Management
  • Phone System Management
  • Security System Management
  • Email Management
