Mission Statement

The mission of the Lawrence County Department of Veteran’s Affairs is to Aid and Assist all County veterans and their families with obtaining Local, State and Federal benefits. We help them discover the benefits to which they are entitled and assist them with the application process. The Lawrence County Veterans Service Office is committed to advocate for veterans, provide quality services and programs for them and their families.

We have many goals and projects to further assist veterans and their families and to help show our gratitude for what our veterans have done for our country. Our primary goal is to give to the Veterans and their Families 100% of ourselves, of the knowledge we have regarding all aspects of Veterans Benefits.

The benefits administered by the staff of the Lawrence County Veterans Affairs Office, are a means by which we can express our profound gratitude for the many sacrifices our veterans have made to protect and defend our freedom.
