License Applications and Information

Dog LicenseDog licenses are available at the Treasurer’s Office or any of our
outside agents. Licenses go on sale December 1st and are good until December 31st, every year.Yearly Dog License ApplicationLifetime dog licenses can only be obtained through the Treasurer’s Office. The dog must be microchipped, and the following applications must be back to our office within 30 days of the veterinarian signing the paperwork:

REMEMBER… Dog licenses are important to everyone, including your dog. If your dog is lost or runs away, it can be identified and returned if it’s found wearing its license.

PENNSYLVANIA LAW REQUIRES THAT ALL DOGS 3 MONTHS OR OLDER MUST BE LICENSED ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 1ST OF THE LICENSE YEAR. ALL DOGS 3 MONTHS OR OLDER MUST ALSO BE VACCINATED AGAINST RABIES.

Hunting LicenseIf you wish to purchase a hunting license, please bring a valid driver’s license or a photo ID.  A lifetime hunting license may be purchased if you are age 65 or older.  Senior Lifetime holders must renew their license every year to obtain an Antlerless tag application.Hunting License Pricing
Fishing LicenseIf you wish to purchase a fishing license, please bring a valid driver’s license or a photo ID. A lifetime fishing license may be purchased if you are age 65 or older. 2023 Fishing License Pricing2023 Fishing License Information
Antlerless LicenseAntlerless tags will be available by mail only on July 11th, 2022.   Antlerless license applications must be mailed for any WMU to the Lawrence County Treasurer’s Office by dates set by the PA Game Commission. Hunters must first purchase a 2022 license and Senior Lifetime holders must renew, at no cost, their license.
Sportsman’s Firearm PermitThis 5-year permit cost $6.00. The applicant must by 18 years of age or older, present a valid photo ID and possess a valid hunting, fishing, furtaking license or permit relating to hunting dogs. A Sportsman’s Firearm Permit is NOT a License to Carry a firearm concealed.
Bingo & Small Games of Chance LicenseLicense applications for bingo and other small games of chance can be obtained at the Treasurer’s Office or an application can be mailed to you by calling (724) 656-2124.Bingo Application
