Lawrence County Law Library

The Lawrence County Law Library is housed within old courthouse of the Lawrence County Government Center complex. The Library has a print collection and several collections of loose printed material. Aside from the physical volumes, the Library also holds digital legal information available onsite through WestlawNext.

The Law Library provides aid in legal information to the courts, the legal community, county personnel and the general public.

Future plans for the library include seeking grants which will provide funding for expanded services and greater availability of its information to the public.

The Lawrence County Law Library is open and available to all citizens of the county during normal business hours of the courthouse. (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) (Excluding Holidays)
